Our IntentionIs to help children learn to stay in connection with their confidence, energy and gifts when they are feeling uncertain. We encourage and equip children to move with peace and clear intention to clarify to themselves what matters most to them and why to ask for what they need with kindness and love. Leadership as a practice is listening. We create a space to practice listening so children can feel joy in being curious about what matters to someone else to clarify what to do and not do for them to feel cared for, seen and heard in a manner that sparks their confidence. We provide a safe and nurturing environment in which children are encouraged to explore, learn and develop through creativity and play; providing premium-quality care.
Our Daycare and School is completely bilingual. We are convinced that exposing young children to French and English greatly promotes language development, awareness and compassion for different ways of thinking to respond to life with curiosity and a passion for excellence.
To spark connection and kindness we focus onSelf ConfidenceWe help the children to recognize the hidden qualities in themselves, be proud of their fine qualities and accept without judgement that there are areas that may need some work.
RespectWe focus on respect as a way to build genuine self-confidence. We practice respect all the time, whether at the table eating lunch, sharing tasks, paying attention to the teachers when asked to do something, or the kind and gentle way in which the children are expected to interact with their peers. PolitenessManners are an integral part of growing up. Good manners are the outward sign of self-respect and respect for those people and things that surround us. One important aspect we constantly work on with the children is to teach them not to scream and not speak too loudly.
Language DevelopmentOur daycare and school focus on exposing young children to English and French to help them develop better communication skills and their appreciation for different ways of thinking so they can practice speaking calmly about what matters most to them throughout their life. MovementCreating a space for indoor and outdoor play promotes the development of physical skills such as stepping, jumping, hopping, skipping, running, climbing, and being aware of their body in a large physical space.
